How Yoga Found me & Shaped My Life
My JourneyI grew up a gymnast for nearly a decade. My curiosity for athletics continued and I became a competitive cheerleader and ended up winning a NCAA title with Oklahoma State in 2016. For a while I enjoyed the structure and rigidity that came with it, but when I moved from Kansas to Arizona after graduating college, I was craving a different motion. Yoga found me and honestly, at first, I hated it. I thought it was too slow & boring. I used to fall asleep in savasana. But overtime, I started to slowly fall in love, not with what Yoga did for my body, but for my mind.
I later attended YTT in the jungles of Costa Rica, to leading corporate movement experiences with Lululemon, teaching across Arizona, supporting former athletes and those navigating chronic pain, to running a Non-Profit for Children & Teens, and facilitating Women’s retreats.
My journey with yoga has allowed me to traverse many landscapes and communities. Yet through every experience, I remain a student first, continually learning from this practice & the people it brings into my life.
❋ Intentional StructureI teach to my audience. I do not teach from a book or script. Every class is different, as I have never taught the same class twice. I attune to the energetics of the space so that whether you are a first time participant or a seasoned yoga student, you are welcome, guided and comfortable in the space.
I teach vinyasa flow, yin & pre-natal yoga
❋ Curated Energy From the warmth of lighting & ambiance, to the music that is curated throughout, everything is intentionally brought together for a memorable experience
❋ Seasoned FacilitationI have taught yoga the last 6 years across the valley of Arizona, in corporate spaces, large wellness events, hosted retreats, guided bachelor and bachelorette parties, taught at several studios and held private 1:1 sessions.
I have spent the last 5 years teaching at a well-known Bouldering gym here in Phoenix, Black Rock and thoroughly enjoyed teaching to the widespread backgrounds and cultures amongst my students I have made life long connections and grown relationships that I will cherish forever amongst the community.
❋ A Supportive & Welcoming SpaceI always tell my students this practice is what you make it and what is best suited for you when you step on your mat. Whether you feel resonate with the cue’s I offer or you need to take rest, the space is there for you to take what you need.

I always joke with my students that there is no better compliment as a yoga teacher than when your students ask, “what song was that?” and I happily share.
Many of my students have asked for a central space to find my yoga flow playlists, so I thought this was a great place to offer more insight. Catch my latest tracks and playlists from over the years via Spotify. (Type “flow” in search bar for class tunes)
