My path has been shaped by initiations that carved me open again and again. Growing up, I spent two decades as an athlete, learning discipline, precision, and the weight of comparison. By 22, I had won a National title for my craft, something I had trained my entire life for — yet I still felt empty, longing for something more.

I left the Midwest after graduating college for the Arizona desert to work in Wilderness Therapy. It was there I saw how nature could guide others through addiction, grief, and hardship. How nature simply, yet often not without challenges, profoundly heals.

Being exposed to trauma informed care and support allowed me to better serve my community and know when to outsource care for clients as a healer, when out of my realm of genius and bandwidth. I watched it mend broken families and the hearts that chose to walk the path forward. The earth became my grounding force — and remains the root of my work today.

The spiral continued to unravel…

I left roaming the wild and began to climb the corporate ladder. I found success quickly as a Senior Recruiter in the world of mental health, hiring Psychiatrists, Medical Doctors & Therapists nationwide. Despite my success, my soul remained unfulfilled. My voice was constantly being silenced & I no longer desired to be a slave to the system that was keeping me and others sick.

And slowly, yet surely, life as I knew it abruptly changed

In the belly of the underworld, death became a master teacher; losing my father to addiction in 2023 and my firstborn son to a 2nd trimester loss in 2024. Enduring the initiation of motherhood and a childless postpartum stripped me bare, forcing me to shed old stories of fear and survival.

All that once sufficed, simply didn’t fulfill anymore. In my dark tunnel of grief, I turned to writing. It became my lifeline and in 8 months time, I wrote and published my first book, a poetic non-fiction memoir of my life thus far, Roots & Reverie.

Storytelling showed me its power to alchemize pain into beauty.

It allowed me to stand proudly with conviction of the arcs and valleys my soul had roamed to get me where my feet stand today.

Now, through The Copper Spiral, I help brands and visionaries find their voice and share it with clarity, soul, and refinement.

My work blends the wisdom of nature, the fire of creative alchemy, and the intimacy of storytelling that doesn’t just speak — but acts as a salve to the heart. Deeply resonating and evoking emotion along the way.
